She was shocked to see how much she would "need" and how little would be saved or spent on herself. I have been giving this a lot of consideration with the discussion that's been happening on the AO Year 0 group. I think I was especially impacted by your stating that you let your children spend their money on what they want (after the necessary divisions). I realize as time goes on that I must be a control freak :) but I think I'm gradually recovering.
